Richard Leslie

Over the years, Richard lost touch with his high school buddies until one fateful day in 2009 when he decided to use the Internet to search for "free beer." That led him to our online announcement of our Fan Appreciation Party, at which we actually footed the tab for a keg. He made a surprise appearance at the gig and even accompanied us on a few songs. He impressed us with his mandolin skills and knack for harmony, so we invited him to play with us whenever he could fit it into his schedule. After a few drunken "weekend rehearsals," we had gathered enough dirt on Richard to blackmail him into joining the group. When not drinking with Drinks on the House, Richard teaches classes like "The Art of Theatre" (with the pretentious -r before -e spelling) at McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas. He also directs community productions of plays including Noises Off and The Miss Firecracker Contest at the Waco Civic Theatre. |

In his spare time, Richard enjoys riding his motorcycle and pretending to be cool. (NOTE: The character "Big Dick Snyder" in David's song Hog Heaven is definitely NOT based on Mr. Leslie.) Some of Richard's favorite Drinks on the House songs include:
