The Dark Side of Lampoon

The Dark Side of Lampoon is our big parody album. Special thanks to audio engineer Don Holman and to former Drinks bandmate, Larry Seidenberg-Jones, the King of Country-Fried Guitar Licks, for their work, duly noted below.

Song ratings & recommendations

  • E = Everybody: Just because it's a family-friendly song doesn't mean it can't be funny, too. Recommended drinking: one juice box (spiked).
  • T = Teen: Like teenagers, these songs may push the boundaries a little. Recommended drinking: 1 - 2 beers.
  • M = Mature: Of course, "mature" really means a lot of potty humor that adults prefer to enjoy without children around. Recommended drinking: 3 or more beers.
  • S = Serious: Unlike most DOTH songs, these are deliberately not funny. We hope you will forgive us for these rare, aberrant efforts. Recommended drinking: Until you feel maudlin.
