Drinks
on the House

In 2009, Drinks on the House finally lived up to its name by offering FREE DRINKS at our Fan Appreciation Party.

We had sodas for the young 'uns, beer for the elders, and pizza for everybody! It was a blast, and judging by the audience's response, everyone else had fun, too.

This special night marked the first time in a long time that all four Drinks were available to perform onstage together. Equally amazing, we managed to record the evening with assorted electronic devices. Click here to hear some of the songs from that fateful evening.

David Harbaugh
David acted as MC, played guitar, sang, harmonized, and provided hair care tips.

Terry Kufner
Terry played guitar, sang, joked around, and squeezed out SBD farts all night.

Dave Jutras
Dave sang, played bass guitar and drums, and constantly sneaked out for a smoke.

John Davenport
John played guitar and bass guitar, and correctly sang many song lyrics.

->RIGHT: Sound Effects Man, one of Dave's dozens of characters (along with Standing Dave, Sitting Dave, Drinking Dave, Smoking Dave, and others), has evolved into a beloved routine guaranteed to thrill Dave. In the background, Kuf looks on as Sound Effects Man fires his sound effects gun, which will produce the very unsound effect of a falling rubber chicken.

You can almost hear the audience's yawn of anticipation.

Wanderin' John

Richard Leslie

Angster of Love

John the Wanderer
Sometimes described as "the Wandering Drink" (or is it the wandering drunk?), John is the only Drinks on the House member not currently residing in Texas. This comes as a surprise to many because he is the only native Texan in the group. Still, give the boy some kudos for making a 1,600 mile trip for a three-hour gig.

Richard Leslie
Our old pal Richard was thinking about his old pal Terry one day and decided to "Google" him. That led him to our online annoucement of the Fan Appreciation Party, so he decided to drop by. We were glad to see him, and we also learned an important lesson about the hidden dangers of putting information online.

Angster of Love
David believes it is impossible to be creative without a little creative angst. Never happy with a simple major chord when a diminished or augmented one could take its place, he constantly looks for new ways to make it harder for the rest of us to learn his songs. Here, he works out an anguished B-flat thirteenth.
